HELLO !
I found camp fun, did all of you?
Haha I hope y'all did. Aaah I feel so bad confiscating things but morals must be upheld! ><
Time has passed really really fast. Although I don't remember much of what my sec one days were like (I always can't rmb things rarrr) but I know that guiding has always been filled with fun and loving memories. It seems just yesterday that I was enrolled and the light-blue-badged seniors were shouting at us... /:
Oh well, go for camps every year if you have the chance to ya? It's tiring and all during the process of it. But at the end of camps, I always have the feeling of satisfaction and sense of achievement, thinking that "Yes, I've conquered those horrid days in camp!"
It's often mentally and physically challenging but I know that y'all can do it because we're Orchidians! :D
I feel that although we're a new patrol, and we may not know one another very well, we're still bonded and that there's this connection between every single one of us (: On one hand, I'm glad to be able to bid farewell on a positive note, but on the other, it just doesn't seem quite right...
It sounds cliche but with just one person missing, Orchid wouldn't be the Orchid we have here today. SNGG wouldn't be what we are today and the campfire wouldn't be as successful as it had been this year.
I teared during the performances today during Farewell, but not when we were as a patrol. Because I know that once I started, I wouldn't be able to stop. Hahaha and it'll be so hard to enjoy our meals in peace after that. Thank you for all the presents! They're really really sweet <3!
And I don't dare to tear a single sheet out of the foolscap!!!
I definitely won't be sad because it's over, but I'll smile because it happened (:
(that is the ultimate cliched line but there's no other way in which I can put it because it makes a lot of sense)
"It's just goodnight and not goodbye"
Yellow badges will always be there (:
ETHEL LOVES ORCHID!
